The History of Art and Architecture Club was formed in 2004. The purpose of the club is to foster a sense of community within the undergraduate students, to provide social and educational events, and to use these events to benefit students'/members' professional goals. HAA majors and potential majors are encouraged to join the club. Currently, the club is in need of committee members to serve in the following areas: fundraising, career preparation, event planning, and newsletter production.

April 5, 2007 – Career Services Workshop

4-5:30 p.m. Room 202 Frick Fine Arts

Join the club and representatives from Career Services to discuss career development and learn

tips on everything from the interview process to preparing a resume.

April 12, 2007 – Creative Career Seminar

4-6:00 p.m. Room 202 Frick Fine Arts

Professionals in the Pittsburgh art community, as well as two HAA grad students,

will speak and answer questions about careers in HAA.

Ongoing Events (February and March, 2007)

· Every Tuesday and Thursday during February we will be painting the wall mural at Children's Hospital from 4-6pm. (This may change to Wednesdays and Thursdays soon. The current dates are: February 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, and 27.)

· Club wide meetings are every other Friday at 3pm with an included activity TBA. Possibilities include movies, talks with professors and local artists, etc. (Dates are Feb. 2 and 16, March 2 and 16.)
